About Viognier
Viognier is a highly aromatic grape variety that originated in the Northern Rhône Valley. Once nearly extinct, it has experienced a renaissance and is now planted worldwide. Viognier produces rich, full-bodied wines with low acidity and intense aromas of stone fruit and flowers. In Condrieu, its ancestral home, Viognier reaches its apex, producing wines of extraordinary perfume and texture. It's also used in small amounts to co-ferment with Syrah.
