About Mendoza

Mendoza is Argentina's most important wine region and the global epicenter of Malbec production. The region's high-altitude vineyards (1,000-1,500+ meters) receive intense sunshine during the day while cold Andean nights preserve acidity. The result is deeply colored, fruit-forward wines with soft tannins. Beyond Malbec, Mendoza produces excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, Bonarda, and aromatic Torrontés. The dramatic Andean backdrop makes wine touring here unforgettable.
